P.E.O. Visit Day

Join us for P.E.O. Visit Day/Weekend from November 6-7, 2026! This special event is designed to showcase our beautiful campus, connect you with students, highlight the聽impact of your continued support, and give prospective students the chance to experience the magic of Cottey firsthand. P.E.O.s, BILs, alumnae, prospective students, and friends of the College are all invited to attend.

Friday Evening Schedule

Start your Cottey experience with an evening filled with connection, Comet spirit, and Cottey talent!

  • 4:30-5:30 p.m.– Registration & Light Bites at the President鈥檚 House
  • 5:30 p.m.听– Cottey Basketball Game
  • 7:30-9:30 p.m.听– Mean Girls: The Musical Theatre performance

Why Friday is a must:

  • Enjoy an exclusive reception at the聽President鈥檚 House聽featuring delicious hors d鈥檕euvres.
  • Cheer on the Comets at a Cottey basketball game.
  • Experience a special performance of Mean Girls: The Musical showcasing Cottey talent.
  • Connect with fellow P.E.O. sisters, current students, and Cottey staff before the full weekend begins.

Friday Night Bonus!
The first 50 guests traveling more than 100 miles who register to attend Friday evening will receive complimentary hotel accommodations for Friday night.

Hotel rooms are based on double occupancy, making it the perfect opportunity to share the experience with a fellow P.E.O. or friend.

Saturday Activities

Saturday begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration and a light breakfast, followed by a full day of exploring all that Cottey has to offer.

  • Explore campus on a student-led campus tour.
  • Learn more about the Cottey experience during our All Things Cottey session.
  • Enjoy lunch in Raney Dining Room.
  • Discover tips and resources for sharing Cottey with prospective students.
  • Shop for Cottey gear and gifts in the Spirit Shop.

Bring a Student Along!

Have a high school sophomore, junior, or senior in your life who might love Cottey? Bring them with you!

While P.E.O.s enjoy their own Visit Day experience, prospective students will participate in a fun and engaging day designed just for them. They鈥檒l connect with current students and enrollment counselors while getting an inside look at what life at Cottey is really like.

Student benefits:

  • Waived application fee when applying for admission to Cottey
  • $1,500 renewable scholarship upon enrollment
  • Hotel accommodations available for students traveling more than 100 miles, as space allows
